Policies
Booking
My hourly rate is $150, and all deposits are non-refundable. You may reschedule one appointment per project for free, as long as you give more than 24 hours’ advance notice. Rescheduling on the day of your appointment will result in losing a portion of your deposit. If you no-call/no-show for your appointment, you will forfeit your entire deposit and be asked to pay another. Cancellations forfeit the deposit altogether. For more booking policies, please see Book Your Tattoo.
Touch-ups
I generally offer one free touch-up for each tattoo, as long as it is within six months of the initial tattoo and I don’t have to essentially rework the whole tattoo.
Tattoos that require more than an hour’s worth of touch-ups will be subject to a $50-$100 touch-up fee. Each subsequent touch-up will be subject to the same fee.
Tattoos in white ink or in areas of the body that will almost always require a second pass (fingers, knuckles, palms, ears, etc.) will also be subject to a touch-up fee.
Tattoos that have healed poorly due to sun exposure or swimming during the healing process will also be subject to a touch-up fee.
Appointment
The outcome of your tattoo is dependent in large part on how well you sit. Please be mindful of your own pain limits and remember not to squirm. Loud, animated talking and laughing are wonderful, but they can cause your body to shake while I’m tattooing you, so I ask that you speak in calm, measured tones while your tattoo is underway.
You must pay in full at the time of your tattoo.
I do not tattoo over skin that has numbing cream applied, sunburn, rashes, eczema or psoriasis breakouts, or is otherwise compromised.
General
All of your tattoo requests and messages are important to me, so I will never ghost you. However, please be aware that I am very busy and it may take some time to get back to you. I will always respond within 1-3 days, but rushing me or pestering me all day might result in my refusal to tattoo you.
You may bring a guest with you to your appointment, but they may be asked to leave my booth while you are getting tattooed if they are distracting you from sitting still. For my sanity, please do not bring children, clingy significant others, or anyone who thinks they know more about tattoos than a professional tattoo artist. Many thanks!
If I don’t think your tattoo idea is a good fit for me, I will refer you to another artist.
I will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 or anyone under the influence of alcohol or hard drugs.
Please do not arrive early for your appointment. If you will be later than 15 minutes, please let me know. If you are later than half an hour, we may have to reschedule your appointment.
Please be mindful of your personal hygiene for your appointment.
No animals are permitted in my booth at any time, no exceptions.
FAQ
-
Feel free to bring water/a non-alcoholic drink of your choice, snacks, a blanket, a pillow, a book, earphones, anything you think will make you more comfortable! It’s not uncommon for people to feel cold or hot during their tattoos, so feel free to plan accordingly. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy access to the area you’re getting tattooed. Black clothing is preferable so that any ink smudges we may get on your clothing won’t leave a stain.

I’m happy to schedule an in-person consultation so you can come meet me and see my space! I’ll answer any of your questions and concerns, such as which spots are the least painful, my tattoo process, and what you can expect from the healing process!

I don’t do full sleeves, full back or torso pieces, large cover-ups, or genital tattoos. Style-wise, I don’t do American traditional, tribal, portraits of loved ones, or traditional Japanese. I also will not tattoo anything lewd or overtly sexual.
